Sustainable Agarwood Tree Plantation
– Ethical Oud Tree Cultivation
Ruipearl operates one of the region’s most responsible and environmentally friendly agarwood tree plantation programs.
We ensure ethical, legal, and sustainable cultivation of Aquilaria species to produce high-quality agarwood for global perfumery, bakhoor, incense, and oud oil production.
What Is an Agarwood Tree? (Oud Tree / Oud Trees)
Anagarwood tree, known across the Middle East as an oud tree, belongs to the Aquilaria family. These trees naturally produce resin when stimulated, forming the valuable aromatic heartwood known as “oud.”
We cultivate several Aquilaria species including:
Aquilaria malaccensis
Hainan agarwood (Chinese agarwood)
Indonesian agarwood

Each variety produces a unique aroma profile valued in incense and perfumery.

Sustainable Cultivation – How We Grow Agarwood Trees
Our plantations follow eco-friendly principles:
Zero Deforestation
We never harvest wild trees. All production comes from legal plantations.
Natural Resin Induction
We use controlled methods to stimulate resin formation safely.
Long-Term Replanting Programs
For every tree harvested, multiple seedlings are planted.
Water Conservation & Soil Protection
Our farms follow strict environmental management systems.
Agarwood Seeds & Tree Propagation
We cultivate agarwood trees starting from high-quality agarwood seeds. The seeds are germinated in controlled nurseries to ensure healthy seedling growth. We also supply small quantities of agarwood tree seeds to approved research and forestry projects.

We do not sell wild agarwood. All trees are plantation-grown and legally certified.
